Pastor Eric has been serving as campus satellite pastor of PONH since January of 2017. Prior to PONH, he was the Assistant Pastor of Pentecostals of Sheboygan County for 10 years. He became a Licensed Minister in 2009 through the United Pentecostal Church International. Pastor Eric is a member of the Occupational Chaplains of America and the International Conference of Police Chaplains, a certified Life Coach, and a proud Volunteer Chaplain for the Kiel Police Department.
He has been married to his wife Deana since 1994. Together they have a beautiful family of four children. Caleb, their oldest, and his wife Lexi are youth ministers at POSC. Elizabeth and her husband Tanner have one son and are expecting another one this spring. Together they run the Hyphen ministry at PONH and are involved in many other areas. Megan is a talented musician and songwriter who puts her talents to great use as she leads worship each Sunday. Benjamin, their youngest, does an incredible job of helping wherever he can. The Holmgren family has been such a blessing to our church and community.
In 2014 Pastor Eric earned his Level 2, Institutional & Corporate, Chaplain Certification through the Occupational Chaplains of America. Later, in 2017, he became a member of the International Conference of Police Chaplains. In 2019 he became a volunteer Chaplain for the Kiel Police Department. He currently serves as a Hospice Chaplain covering the northwest region of Wisconsin.
